Client Terms of Use

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These terms apply to individuals and businesses requesting Fire Risk Assessment quotes.

2. Our Service

We operate a lead generation and connection service. We pass your request to up to three independent fire risk assessors.

We are not a party to any contract formed between you and an assessor.

3. Your Obligations

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Carry out due diligence on any assessor
• Agree scope, price and terms directly with the assessor

4. No Fee to You

The quote request service is free of charge.

5. Disclaimers & Liability

We are not responsible for the quality, pricing or conduct of assessors.

6. Data Protection

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Service Provider (Assessor) Terms

1. Introduction

These terms apply to fire risk assessors registered on the platform.

2. Definitions

• Lead: A quote request passed to you
• Client: A person requesting a quote
• Platform: fireriskquote.co.uk

3. Becoming a Service Provider

• You must be suitably qualified
• Maintain valid insurance
• Comply with all applicable laws

4. Use of the Platform

• No circumvention of the platform
• No data scraping
• No duplicate accounts

5. Client Leads

Any contract is strictly between you and the client.

6. Fees and Commission

No fee will be charged for the first Successful Introduction between you and a Client made via the Platform.

For any subsequent Successful Introductions between the Service Provider and a Client, you agree to pay Fire Risk Quote a commission equal to 10% of the total fees agreed or paid by the Client to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A Successful Introduction shall be deemed to have occurred where services are provided to a Client introduced by the Platform at any time within 12 months of the introduction.

Commission shall be payable within 14 days of you receiving payment from the Client. You agree to notify us promptly of any engagement or payment arising from a Client introduced via the Platform and to provide reasonable evidence of fees earned upon request.

You must not seek to avoid payment of commission by contracting directly or indirectly with a Client introduced by the Platform outside of the Platform.

We reserve the right to amend our fee structure, including commission rates, by providing reasonable prior notice. Any changes will not apply retrospectively.

7. Liability

We are not liable for your work or client disputes.
